Gender Equity

Refers to fairness and justice in the distribution of benefits and responsibilities between girls, boys, women and men, according to their respective needs. It is considered part of the process of achieving gender equality in terms of rights, benefits, obligations, and opportunities. For the purposes of this toolkit, gender considerations are included throughout toolkit sections and tools.
