Cluster learning approach

Children on the Edge employs a cluster learning approach, using communal spaces, such as under trees, in people’s houses, or other suitable spaces, to teach children in small groups. Currently being piloted in two refugee communities in Uganda, this approach offers a simple, sustainable early childhood model that places communities at the heart of education provision and removes the need for costly classrooms and staff.
