This white paper summarizes the background evidence and research in the area of pre-primary workforce development, focusing on (i) ECE job profiles and qualifications; (ii) recruitment and retention of ECE workforce; (iii) training and support for ECE workforce; and (iv) promoting continuous improvement of ECE workforce.
