UNICEF West and Central Africa’s regional prototype for supporting cost-effective policy development for Early Childhood Development

This regional package of 3 tools has been used across countries in the West and Central Africa region to enable the generation of evidence to expand quality ECE in national education plans, policies and budgets. This package consists of 3 tools : (1) a costing tool; (2) an early learning assessment module; and (3) a parent practice survey. The data and information generated by these tools can provide evidence to substantiate advocacy efforts around quality ECE.
